GATE 2020 Virtual Calculator - How to Use it? One of the features which will be provided to all candidates attempting the entrance examination is the virtual calculator of GATE 2020. Along with the online examination, the GATE 2020 virtual calculator will be made available to help the candidates with their calculations and more. The calculator was incorporated as an important feature of GATE in 2016. Since the candidates will not be allowed to use a physical calculator, they will have to use the virtual calculator of GATE 2020. The question paper will also be set according to GATE 2020 virtual calculator. Read the full article to know in detail the steps to use and main feature of GATE 2020 Virtual Calculator.
Features of GATE 2020 Virtual Calculator
- The virtual calculator of GATE 2020 will be made available for the candidates who are appearing for the examination.
- In the GATE 2020 virtual calculator, the candidates will be able to find the keys for simple operations on the right hand side of the calculator.
- On the left hand side, the keys for all scientific functions and operations are given.
- The candidates will not be required to press SHIFT or INV keys since the inverse functions have separate keys.
- Trigonometric functions will be grouped together.
- The inverse functions will be placed below the respective functions. For example, sininv will be placed below sin on the calculator.
- Hyperbolic functions will be grouped together.
- At the top of the GATE 2020 virtual calculator, two display boxes will be provided. The op box will indicate the sequence of the keys pressed. This will be just for reference.
- The second box below will indicate the actual values entered or obtained after calculations.
