Hi Guys, As per the request from many ECE guys for a post regarding Analog Electronics important topics, I am writing this post for them. Analog Electronics is one of the most important subjects for ECE and also since it is a core subject so it becomes much more important that this subject is covered in detail. But many GATE Aspirants are often confused as to what specifically we need to study from this subject as this subject is very vast in itself. This subject accounts for 10-12 marks in GATE exam and is very important if someone wants to pursue higher studies in Electronics domain. So, to reduce the effort we need to target the topics that are specific to GATE. Mode of Entrance Exam in India

Earlier, the entrance exams were held on pen and paper but as the technology advanced, the mode of examination changed. Few of the following popular modes in which the exams are held are as follows: Offline Mode – This is the traditional pen and paper format, in which candidates have to write answer on a paper or OMR sheet. CBT Mode – Compute based test mode is the most popular mode of entrance exams right now. Here, the candidates have to attempt the exam on a computer and mark answers with the help of a mouse. In some of the exams, candidates even get virtual calculate as well. Online Mode – Even in online mode the candidates take the exam via computer. However, the only difference is that candidates can take the exam form anywhere and are not restricted to go to a particular center. To take these types of exam, candidates just need to have a computer, good internet connection, and a webcam.
